Freecycle
Got some decent stuff that's too good to throw away; give it away. Furniture, an old bike even some plant cuttings. Or advertise for a need! Keep it out of landfill, help someone out and what goes around, comes around.
Send me a pic and description and I will post it on this page together with your contact phone number or e-mail address. Once it has gone let me know and I will mark it as 'taken'.
I suggest you don't give to the first to contact but collect details over a few days then donate to the person you think most suitable.
If items stagnate for more than a month or two then they may be taken down.
Please note this service is for local residents over the age of 18 only.
